Quote:
A WOMAN has given birth to triplets — 13 years apart.
Baby Laina Beasley was one of several embryos conceived 14 years ago when mum Debbie underwent fertility treatment.
Two were implanted and nurse Debbie gave birth to son Jeff and daughter Carleigh.
The rest were frozen at -235°C for later use.
Last year Debbie and her husband, probation officer Kent, 55, decided to have another child — and that was Laina.
Debbie, 45, said: “I look at Laina and I still can’t believe it.
“I smell her and kiss her — and I can’t believe she’s here.”
It is the longest recorded time an embryo has been frozen — and born healthy.
