ahh. Ed's again. That'll be a pain to a fair few, oh well.

Blagman, you ever seen the live landing?
They will usually have some good HUD live video, with all the usual readings. Its pretty good.

Calrissian: t-2hrs...and holding

Hi Cal, yea I remember the original one and the few after that which where aired,, but like the rest of the general public I lost interest.

But I have been enjoying the pictures from space and listening to the commentary.

aye...
its all go. This should be straightforward.
---
Night landings are not quite as good fun, but still....they have infra-red.

*there will be press conf. soon after....
further..they'll have cameras all around the shuttle once it lands...as the sun comes up...should make a divine sight.

Cal: come on home Discovery

I wonder when EasyJet will start doing flights to the International Space Station from Bristol International (via Dusseldorf or Nice).

:-( But I couldn't see it live, because I was at work when it happened :-?

Shame it wasn't daylight the shot of the heads-up display live during the descent would have looked great. Just watched the recording and it was much clearer than what we saw of the News at the time. I wonder where they were getting their feed from ? APTN feed was much clearer.

Glad they are make safely but after following many of the press conferences the News Media made everything sound many times worse. And did you see ,I think it was ITV ,who opened with saying the about the wake-up call for the crew this morning playing the music claiming the video was a view from the Shuttle when really it was from the ISS as I saw it live before I left for work.
We had both ITV and BBC on in the workshop but as they both used the same feed the wasn't anything gained.
