It’s official. Technology has gone MAAAD.

Someone has given the techie geeks at Samsung a bit too much caffeine. And the result? A phone that tells women when they can get pregnant.

It's not April Fools Day so we're guessing it's a true story in the Daily Express.

The E530 Samsung phone "checks on what a woman eats and tells her if she needs to shed a few pounds or reminds her of what to buy at the shops," reports the paper. So no need for best friends any more.

And the piece de la resistance of the bonkers brains behind the girlie gadget? The 'Pink Schedule'. This feature keeps track of when the user is ovulating, and therefore when she could become pregnant, claims the paper.

Bonus bits include an in-built calorie counter and the ability to work out what kind of fragrance the owner would like.

That's it. No punchline - it's true. In a shop near you now.

Well, they are starting to stick everything in mobile phones, so why not this. You already have MP3 players, camera's, games system, as well as other things. It seems like the average mobile phone which was originally just for phoning people up, is now going to be everything but the kitchen sink.
