HUNDREDS of Glastonbury fans are suffering from
trench foot after spending days in waterlogged fields at this year's wash-out event.
Festival-goers waded through flood water and sewage after a massive storm in June.
The condition, suffered by First World War troops, includes numb toes, blisters and gangrene. Sufferer Laura Kavanagh, 23, of Somerset, is on antibiotics. She said: "I learnt about it in history."
A spokesman for the festival in Pilton, Somerset, blamed fans for taking the wrong footwear.
