7 September 2005

THE much-loved round Smarties sweets tube is being axed this week after 68 years - and the last 100 will be individually numbered with a certificate signed by Rowntree boss Chris White.

A six-sided hexatube will replace the old favourite. A spokesman said: "We needed to take the packaging into a new age."

You're joking :( My friend has been trying to make the word 'muppet' for me and she's having problems getting a couple of the letters. Why change though?
