Meanwhile..I'm aware of a possible 'Beta' and 'Gamma' storm that some of the models are suggesting.

Calrissian: Tropical Storm Davina ?

I was on the bus today, going to the shops, when the heavens opened. It was a bit like being in Malaysia during the monsoon. I was more than a bit scared by the waves being sent over the flyover by the bus. I wouldnt have wanted to be driving underneath at that point.

It was like going to Universal Studios and going on that ride in a jeep that goes through water, except it was a bus, and not anywhere american at all.

Well as already stated earlier by another FM what's left of Wilma will be heading our way during the weekend. See the projected track.

RE: crazy weather
I'd love to see 5 feet of rain here. Sure, there'd be no food/water for weeks, but then it'd be highly entertaining to see how many of the common filth deal with it. Doubtless it'd end up with civil riots sooner or later, they'd probably turn to cannabilism. How appropriate.

Calrissian: does not live at ground level :D

Does it really bother you that I'd revel in seeing the common filth starve, or just plain old drown. The wretched little rats...amazing that some people have sympathy for them.

You should try living around such dirt, and then you won't be rolling your eyes quite as much missy.

Common people are not filth. :) Without common people nothing rolls in this civilized world, they deserve all respect that me and you can give. If you were born in Scandinavia, you'd think probably differently about these things or then you'd be member of an extreme right or left. But anyway - I didn't excatly name the words I was rolling my eyes to. I don't enjoy seeing people suffer. :puke: That's one of the biggest differences between you and me - I like your sharp mind writing sentences over here ;) , but sometimes enough is enough - your comments over cannibalism for example. Over my good taste and over my sense of humour. Even in poorest part of the world where people are badly starving and they don't no nothing about theories of morality - they don't eat each other in any circumstanses. Have you watched too many times films of Hannibal Lecter or what?

Well I think the possible answer is to look at the forecast charts for Saturday and Sunday. On the BBC this lunch time it showed a Low in the Atlantic just to the west of Ireland with lots of Isobars. Now this would coinside with the projected forecast track that I posted the other day.

I'll have a check but I'd guess that it could well be what's left of Wilma.

Thank you all.I confess that though the subject does interest me,it's my daughter whos collecting info for a 5day newstory and tracking this after it hit the states seemed like a different angle of a newstory than most others would have chosen

*the remains of Wilma will be just to the west of Ireland Saturday, or around that time.

Although it is a totally different system now.
