hmm. Thursday October 27'th 2005. Here in the south of England today, it was warm. Not just 'mild', but warm. Warm enough for no shirt sleeves..and for those brave enough...shorts. 70f is simply 'crazy' temps for the very end of October. --- However...across the Atlantic...due south of the USA we now have yet another one. Beta. Beta will probably become a cane' by tomorrow night, and then its yet another 'here we go again'. Its a teeny storm right now, however...despite what many say 'ohh its too late in the season, sea temps are too low', Beta might develop into something major. How many more storms might yet occur this year ? Well, to the east of Beta are two 'disturbances'. Right now they look likely to be 'Gamma'...followed by 'Delta'. For the Floridians whining about no food/water/gas (they were warned to stock up), if they can avoid any more storms...they should count themselves lucky. Looks like it'll cross Central America and then off into the Pacific. |

No one is really sure right now. *its becoming somewhat 'crazy' since it looks like 'Gamma' is now forming to the North East of Beta. lol, crazy storm season. Meanwhile, the Floridians are still queuing for Gas. There is plenty of it, but no power = no ability of pumps to get it out of the Gas Station tanks ! Beta is starting to turn real nasty. Even the met's are suggesting 100mph now, and no one is really certain what might happen next week. Despite it being the end of October....storm season is far from over. Cal: chocolate day. |
