Thursday, December 1, 2005 FIVE members of a callous family-run Albanian gang who preyed on naive young women in a £2 million trafficking and prostitution ring were today jailed for up to 18 years each. Conned with false promises of fun and well-paid work, some of those they ensnared were forced to entertain up to 20 clients a day during a relentless, round-the-clock ordeal. One of their "sex slaves" was a 16-year-old Lithuanian schoolgirl invited to London for an all-expenses paid Halloween weekend. Unfortunately the nightmare that followed was all too real. She was kept a virtual prisoner by what the judge called the "Family Firm" in a succession of seedy brothels while having to entertain a non-stop conveyor belt of clients.
