Five suspected international terrorists who face deportation from the UK have been granted conditional bail by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (Siac), the Home Office said.

The men, known only as X, Y, AA, CC and P will not be released until strict restrictions similar to control orders have been negotiated between their legal teams and Siac chairman Mr Justice Ouseley.

They were granted bail pending the outcome of their appeals against detention under immigration laws.
