All the more satisfying that it should happen in Belfast.

are the civil partnerships just like a normal marriage then? Assuming that not all of these civil partnerships work out, would they have to go through the divorce procedure or would it be a simpler case of having the partnership dissolved?

i think the civil partnerships are simply dissolved NM. I'm not sure about the wording of the ceremony, probably a little different to a civil wedding but not much.

Also did you know that the words bachelor and spinster aren't going to be used for heterosexual couples getting married any more? they'll just be called 'single' on the marriage cert.
