The headline in tonights Jersey Evening Post.

and on closer inspection, it appears that Jersey (traditionally called Beans) and Guernsey (called Donkeys) are playing against each other on Monday and the Police have warned that no-one is allowed to throw carrots at the Guernsey players. We certainly know how to live dangerously over here.


I wonder if when they play in Guernsey, their police warn people not to throw green beans on the pitch.

After 16 pints of 'MaryAnne' beer I doubt if the can throw anything very far........ except their stomach linings

Wonder if they get searched on the way in for dangerous weapons......you could take an eye out with a carrot you know!! As for beans....well just let's not go there.
