MUM Carlie Roberts shows off her newborn triplets and toddler son — and she is only 17.

All-boy trio Bradley, Alfie and Scott Jnr were born six weeks premature weighing around 3lb. Son Harley is just 15 months.

But the baby-mad teenager says she is thrilled to be a mother of four boys when most of her pals are still at school.

It also means partner Scott Handford, 24, is now a dad of SIX — with two sons from an earlier relationship.

Carlie said from hospital yesterday: “It might be a struggle, but I’m sure we’ll manage.”

But she admitted: “We had hoped for a daughter. I hadn’t bargained on triplets.”

The young mum believes she will be able to take her babies home soon to Mackworth, Derby, from the city’s hospital.

Baby Bradley weighed in at 3lb 2oz, identical Scott Jnr at 3lb 8oz, and Alfie at 3lb 7.5oz.

The couple found out Carlie was expecting triplets at her nine-week scan.

She said: “I couldn’t stop laughing at first. Then we looked at each other and said, ‘What are we going to do?’”

She and £200-a-week cleaner Scott pay £64 rent weekly for a three-bedroom council house.

They pick up NO state benefits — but plan to apply for family tax credits.

Carlie met Scott while she was still at school. She went into labour with Harley during her GCSE science exam — but still passed it and six others.

She said: “I want to be a lawyer and have tried to carry on with my education. But my career will have to wait now.”
