A customer had bought a wrong set of batteries for his remote controll from K-Citymarket in Vaasa, Finland. He e-mailed the store to ask if he could change the batteries (that had cost 4,19 euro). He got an answer in a few days:
"According to the K-Citymarket-chain, a grown up should be able to check which batteries they are required to use in the machine in question. You can either read it in the manual or check what kind of batteries you've used in the device before... It's not always an easy task, but we believe it shouldn't be much more of a challenge than, for instance, concieving a child, in which you've obviously succeeded."
The sender of the e-mail had allegedly apologised to the customer and claimed that the e-mail was meant to be an inside joke between the employees of K-Citymarket Vaasa. Do you reckon that would be a satisfying explanation to the customer in question?
