Last updated at 23:13pm on 9th February 2007 Furious parents have staged protests outside a school over its decision to serve only halal meat at lunchtime. Staff called the police after one father went into the school in North London to challenge the new meals policy. Kingsgate Primary in West Hampstead is among a growing number of schools with high Muslim populations to use halal-only meat in cooking. Animals slaughtered in the halal way are killed with a single cut to the throat without being stunned first. DailyMail |
