A Canadian woman who went missing last week during a blizzard has been found alive, buried in 23 inches (58 centimetres) of snow. Rescuers were stunned to find the woman, Donna Molnar of Ancaster, Ontario, alive after she spent four days outside in freezing temperatures.
Molnar was found at midday Monday by a police search dog and its handler, said Staff Sgt Mark Cox.
The 55-year-old woman went missing during a violent snowstorm last Friday after her sport utility vehicle became lodged in the snow in a wind-swept farm field.
