This is so sad. I've been on the verge of tears all morning. Big fan of MJ. One of a kind, pure genius, we won't see anyone like him ever again.

RIP

So Katie and Peter are united in their grief re. the passing of Michael Jackson.

And Gordon Brown and David Cameron are saddened about it too. Do the press really have nothing better to ask than that?

Ryan Kisiel eh - I used to work for his mum.

Just been watching Sky News this afternoon. It is undoubtably sad that Michael Jackson has died and it must be a real shock for his family especially his children. His lawyer's gone on record talking about prescription painkillers; I fear there is more speculation to come.

That said, the thing that makes me go :8o: is when shots of a body bag being brought out of a house get shown ad nauseum. It happened with Heath Ledger as well. Give the man at least a bit of dignity in death.

I did also wonder why David Cameron and Gordon Brown were making a statement on this hugely important political event

Yours, Curmudgeon, Somerset. ;)

The fans killed their idol. They always do
Those who professed to love Michael Jackson were vampires, feeders and jackals – their adulation hastened his end
