Residents on Orkney are on-watch for killer-stoats as the animal poses a threat to other species on the Island. Stoats have been spotted at three locations on Orkney and now there are concerns about their impact on birds and small animals like the unique Orkney vole. A project to trap stoats in Orkney has begun, as attempts to stop the spread of the “skilful predator”, and protect the county’s birdlife, get underway. STV.tv |
