The announcement has been made that William is to marry his love.
Poor Kate, the media is going to start their sycophant blanket coverage...
I would like to offer the pair all the luck in the world on their fort coming wedding and wish them a happy life together.

Huw Edwards To Anchor Royal Wedding

The BBC has chosen Huw Edwards to lead its coverage of the Royal wedding, according to reports.

Edwards will anchor the BBC's coverage and broadcast to the nation in an event which is predicted to attract a worldwide audience of one billion. Prince William and Kate Middleton will marry at Westminster Abbey on April 29.

Edwards has never anchored a Royal wedding, although he has experience of Royal occasions as the voice of Trooping the Colour and the State Opening of Parliament.

He also hosted coverage of the 60th anniversary of D-Day, the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics and Barack Obama's inauguration.

The 49-year-old said last night: "I am delighted with the news and consider it a great honour to play a part in what I am sure will be a huge national celebration."

Royal wedding: Prince William and Kate Middleton will be married by Archbishop of Canterbury - and bride's route to Westminster Abbey confirmed

Details about the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton were released today - including the route the bride will travel to the Westminster Abbey service and confirmation that the Archbishop of Canterbury will marry them.

The newlyweds will return to Buckingham Palace in a carriage procession along a route which will include Parliament Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards Parade and The Mall, St James's Palace said.

Once inside the Palace, the Queen will give a reception for the couple and guests drawn from the congregation representing the couple's official and private lives.

St James's Palace issued the new details today on the eve of Miss Middleton's 29th birthday tomorrow.

A spokesman said the bride will travel by car to the Abbey along a route including The Mall, Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and Parliament Square.

Her wedding to the Prince will begin at 11am.

Dean of Westminster the Very Rev Dr John Hall will conduct the service.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, will marry Prince William and Miss Middleton, and the Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Richard Chartres, will give the address.

The Prince of Wales will give a private dinner, followed by dancing, at Buckingham Palace in the evening, for the couple and their close friends and family.

The pair announced their engagement in November, nine years after meeting as students at St Andrews University.
Their wedding, on April 29, is expected to draw in a huge worldwide audience.

Britain will enjoy a bank holiday bonanza as millions get an extra day off to celebrate - the royal wedding has been designated an official public holiday.

With Easter falling the weekend before, and May Day holiday on the following Monday, it means many people will enjoy two four-day weekends in a row.

The couple were said to be "completely over the moon" after getting the spring wedding they wanted in a venue they chose for its "staggering beauty" and 1,000-year royal history.

They are also keen on making the day a national celebration and a concert in Hyde Park to mark the occasion has been proposed.

St James's Palace has said the wedding will be paid for by the Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Middleton family, although the taxpayer will pick up the bill for related costs such as policing.

Prince William has strong ties to Westminster Abbey in central London.

His grandmother, the Queen, was married and crowned in the historic place of worship, and the funeral of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, was held there.

After issuing the new details, St James's Palace said more would be revealed in due course.
