Two schoolgirls have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder following an incident at a school in Caerphilly county. It is understood the target of the plot was a teacher, but no one was harmed and the matter was resolved peacefully. Gwent Police said the teenagers, aged 14 and 15, were arrested at Cwmcarn High School on Thursday following concerns about their behaviour.
