X FACTOR'S Mr Nasty Simon Cowell sparked a massive row between three childhood pals when he told one to go solo.
Millions watched him urge blonde Becky Fairclough, 21, to dump the other members of Stiletto as she was voted into the finals last night.
Cowell sneered after their version of the The Corrs' Runaway: "I like you Becky but you've got the wrong two partners. You should come back on your own" The band had worked in clubs around St Albans but Becky - niece of Dexys Midnight Runners star Kevin Rowland - sparked fury after telling Nicole and Emily she was going it alone.
An insider said: "They were incensed after Becky got to the finals - they felt she'd deserted them.
"They had a huge screaming match. Some guys split them up as they feared it would turn violent. Simon's caused life-long pals to fall out."
