X Factor loser lays blame on judges
The latest X Factor loser has said personal rivalries between the judges may have been the reason he was booted off the show.
Nicholas Dorsett became the sixth contestant to be voted off the ITV show after Sharon Osbourne backed Irish girl group The Conway Sisters.
Last week Dorsett mentor Louis Walsh saw off Sharon's hopeful Maria by voting to keep the singing sisters in the contest.
After Walsh gave Dorsett his crucial vote and Simon Cowell plumped for the girl group it fell to Osbourne to cast the deciding vote.
Dorsett who gave a rendition of And If I Ever said it had crossed his mind that by voting him off the show Osbourne may have been getting her own back on Walsh.
"I cannot say I didn't think that. I would be lying if I did but at the end of the day Sharon made her decision and she is the only one that knows why she made that decision. I cannot be upset or angry about it," he said.
The 18-year-old soul singer from Enfield, north London said while he was disappointed to be knocked out the setback would not put him off singing professionally. "I won't give up singing," he said.
"Louis said he is going to be in touch with me. He said maybe in a year I would be ready. I always think I have got more to learn. It feels bad to be voted out because it would be good to make the final but I did not intend to win the competition. I knew my week was coming and it came last night." But he added he was proud to have got so far.
Out of the six remaining acts Dorsett tipped Journey South and Andy Abraham to go through to this years final. "They are the two that we will see in the final and they deserve it," he said.
However he refused to be drawn on which of the two acts he would like to see win the show. The Conway Sisters, Brenda Edwards, Andy Abraham, Shayne Ward. Chico Flimani and Journey South got through to next Saturday's show.
