James Fox is taking special leave from his tour in American musical Movin' Out to perform with Katherine Jenkins next week.
The former Fame Academy contestant, who is from Cardiff, will perform in front of the Queen at the Festival Of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
Fox will be performing the track Anthem from musical Chess and will be joined on stage by Katherine Jenkins.
After an extensive stint in the West End and performances on Broadway, Fox is currently touring the rest of the United States as the singer in Movin' Out which features the classic hits of Billy Joel.
The show closed early in the UK because of poor ticket sales but it is a big seller in the United States where Joel has a long and successful music career.
