X FACTOR stars The MacDonald Brothers have resolved to come back with a bang in the new year.

The Ayrshire duo, who shot to fame as they reached the final four on the TV talent show, have promised to release an album in 2007.

They even vowed that their record would go platinum as they wished Daily Record readers the best of the season.
