Sinead's yes to a proposal with feeling
As marriage proposals go, it wasn't very rock 'n' roll. But former Fame Academy finalist Sinead Quinn was thrilled when her musician boyfriend, Paul Stewart of The Feeling, popped the question - while the pair were walking the dog.
As the couple enjoyed the evening saunter near their home in St Albans in England, Paul got down on one knee and presented Sinead with an antique engagement ring which he had chosen himself.
They then headed off to their local pub to celebrate with champagne.
Delighted Sinead said no date had yet been set for the wedding, but that it would definitely be in Fermanagh.
She said: "We were walking the dog past the cathedral near our home when Paul got down on one knee and proposed.
"It was just around dusk and it was a lovely evening. Of course I said 'yes' straight away. It was such a romantic moment. The ring is antique and is oval-shaped with diamonds and a ruby in the middle.
"He picked it himself in Beverley Hills and I have to say, it's absolutely perfect. He knows me so well, because it's exactly what I would have chosen for myself."
Sinead, meanwhile, is preparing for her first acting part in Jeff Wayne's epic War Of The Worlds, at Belfast's Odyssey on December 2.
