JLS, the boy band pipped at the post for The X Factor title by Alexandra Burke, will be appearing at a Mansfield nightspot later this month.

The male vocal harmony group -- Aston Merrygold, 20, Marvin Humes, 23, Jonathan Gill and Ortise Williams, both 22 -- who were mentored by Louis Walsh during the ITV talent contest, are to perform at the Chicago Rock Cafe in Clumber Street on Thursday January 29.
