Cheryl Cole has threatened to quit ITV1's The X Factor if fellow judge Dannii Minogue is axed, it's reported.

Cole is said to have refused to sign her contract for this year's series, to start filming in May, until Minogue is also signed up.

It's been claimed that Simon Cowell has been looking for a replacement. But a source told The Sun: "There's no way he'll let them both go."
