Bit galling how some get through on a crying game. I'm sure Andy's tears were genuine, but I was wondering what everyone was talking about, ie him 'trying harder than others,' 'especially with his background', 'more nervous than most,' etc etc. I thought he had come through some great personal tragedy the way they were going on, so I sneaked a look at the Pop Idol site (I know, I know! ) only to find his tragedy was being the boyfriend of someone from Liberty X!

What's that about?

No it was because he was in 3SL (a nearly boy band a couple of years ago). I reckon they must have more fans than they thought and all the girlies want him back!

I think he got thru because of who he is, don't think he'll last long.

hes also the brother of lisa scot lee of steps and his father is a leading record producer oh my god such hardships glen should have got in rather than him on the night and he should have been in the wild card show

I was quite chuffed with the result last night - the 2 I wanted to go through, did!
Hope Glen goes through next week though!

kate thornton was speaking last week in pop idol extra about one of their dad being a record producer I assumed it was andy - still think glen should have got through over him in fact there are quite a few better than him and if he wasnt who he was I wonder if he would of I know hes a nice guy but should be about the voice and his is not a strong one

The way they were going on though, me not knowing any background, just thinking 'He looks quite nice, sings quite well, what are these huge challenges he has had in his life that makes him cry, and the panel say 'what a nice, down to earth guy he is' etc etc. I felt a bit let down when I found out the reason(s).
Double the votes, then! Crying, panel for him, and someone a lot of voters already know!

Sam and Suzanne went thru tonight (as I predicted *preening*). Should be a good show next week but I think Mark (from last week) will win overall..... still there could always be some surprises.

I liked mark too but there are some good people there who should get on from the show

Haven't seen much of this so far but quite liked Glen although he didn't sing well enough this week.

Are me and my mum the only people in the country who think Glen has no business even being in the final 100 never mind the wildcard show - I thought he was absolutely AWFUL both weeks and what a bigheaded little sod too!!!

Why do these kids think if they cheek back the judges (A LA Will Young) they'll get somewhere, all they do is make themselves look utter fools - LOVE Pete the other week when that kid said "I think you're talking crap" and pete said "Thats why Im a millionaire and youre NOT" LMFAO!!!!!!!!

Glad Sam went through - suzanne not too sure on think maybe shes got the sympathy vote cos shes such a state - she'll never get over those nerves so she can never be a true star IMO...Personally I think the girl that sang "thorn in my side" shouldve gone through!!!!!

I love Sam he is the one I went to win he is absolutely brilliant I couldn't believe it when he didn't get through but when I heard the results of Saturday night I was well chuffed!!
