Indeed Ade I have *looks at CD collection* many of Alison Moyet's CD's I mearly said being big never did her any harm I didnt compare her to her! In fact I disagree YOU are insulting Alison Moyet by sayign "twice the talent" the difference IMO is immeasurable!

Michelle is not and never shall be anywhere near the standard of Alison Moyet but people are saying she doesnt have the look of a popstar but what does a popstar look like?

Then again look at that black box song in the 90's the girl that sang that was HUGE yet the girl that fronted black box for the track was twiggy reborn!

Yeah I aggree. If I didn't watch MTV I wouldn't know what anyone looked like. And it wouldn't make a difference to me. I've got hundreds of soul records that I wouldn't have a clue what the singers look like.

And I wonder how many fans really fancied the likes of Barry White or Elton John? But I'm not for one minute comparing either of them to Pop idol people...just saying that if the music's good who cares a fig what they look like? I know I don't. When I was much younger I LOVED Adam Ant...I mean I REALLY REALLY LOVED HIM! But even at a young age I knew Puss in Boots was a pile of tosh and didn't buy it!

..but, I'm not sure if he was miming or not..at first I thought he was..as his lips were out of sinc a bit..but..when he got to the higher notes he seemed to go off key..now if he had been miming I don't think that would have happend would it??

I ended up spending most of his song trying to work it out
