I'm quite glad with the people who got through tonight. I hope more girls get in on Weds cos it's gonna be mostly guys and I think it's better to have a balance

I thought that Barry wouldnt get in but i am glad that he did.

not really into fame academy but tv so bad last night watched it and thought for a bit oh god here goes endermol but was pleasantly surprised when the 3 best got in and agree with david grant that paris has got the whole package he certainly has stage presence as well as a really good r+b voice

I remember them when they were on idol and the grants couldnt believe the panel werent keen on will they liked him from the start

A couple of them were extremely bad singers. I can't believe they actually made it through to the TV vote. Having said that, all of the "teachers" do seem to be trying to be nasty. Are they spying Simon Cowell type notoriety?

They were very hard on the first guy, especially as after watching all six he was actually one of the best.

Does anyone else think that those who are already in, standing on the stairs, did look slightly smug?

Absolutely spot on (as usual...). The teachers all have one eye on the chance of being noticed by the lucrative USA telly market where they just love nasty Brits !

Shucks, Eajay, I'm going all :oops: !

Seriously though, I totally agree with you about the US loving nasty Brits.... Joan Collins, Kate O'Mara, Simon Cowell, Stephanie Beacham... to name but a few. And, much as I quite like her (for some odd reason) I do think Carrie Grant, in particular, has that kind of crossover in her sights too.

I didn't, until today, realise that FA was live for 18 hours a day. I'm not watching BBUS so I'll probably give this a go to see what it's like. It'll help with my awful withdrawl symptoms from BB4 ;)

Haven't been online for the past week and a half. Are most of the regulars still around?
