I watched one of the episodes last week on ITV2 and I noticed the people had to write there own songs. I thought that was a brilliant idea. Although it must have been very difficult to do at least whomever wins will be talented in other areas as well as singing.

I think that is something they should install in the British version.

“Unfortunately, due to recent events, ‘American Idol’ participant Donnie Williams has been removed from the contest,” said Scott Grogin, Fox vice president of corporate communications in a statement.
