Dec 15 2004 FACTOR winner Steve Brookstein triumphed by almost two-and-a-half million votes, it emerged yesterday. The singer, who scooped a £1million recording contract, led the way for most of Saturday night's show. Of the 8.4 million votes polled, 5.4 million were for Steve.
