SHARON Osbourne has ended her rift with Simon Cowell and signed a £1million deal to appear on X-Factor 2.
She was on the brink of being fired as a judge following her attack on Steve Brookstein, the winner of the last series.
Simon was left fuming after she branded the crooner a “fake”.
But they have made up following a series of meetings and this week Sharon signed on the dotted line to again join Simon and Louis Walsh on the judging panel. A show insider said: “Things were very frosty between Sharon and Simon after her rant.
“He was so angry because he felt she was damaging the show as millions had voted for Steve. But Sharon then made a big apology saying she was wrong.
“Simon knows that Sharon was a hit with the viewers, so has pulled out the stops to sign her again on a big money deal.”
Auditions will start for the ITV1 show in May. The show will hit our screens in August and run until Christmas.
