Former Pop Idol Michelle McManus is all set to lose some weight.
The former talent show winner is aiming to shed the pounds in front of the nation in a new Channel 4 show.
Her eating habits will come under the spotlight in Celebrity You Are What
You Eat, despite the singer claiming in the past that she was happy with the way she was.
Nutritionist Gillian McKeith will be tasked with sorting out Michelle's diet for the new show.
Talking about Michelle and her weight, Gillian said:
"She kept saying she was fine with her weight, but when you have all that extra weight you don't have the same kind of energy - and to try and be on top of the career that she wants to have you need to have the energy levels."
After winning Pop Idol 2 in 2003, Michelle, from Glasgow, scored a No. 1 with her debut single All This Time - but her chart success has been short-lived.
