Quote: X FACTOR winner STEVE BROOKSTEIN’s debut Heart & Soul looks as though it will top the album chart on Sunday — but he’s still playing second fiddle to TV runners-up G4.
It looks as though the album will sell fewer than 60,000 copies. That’s more than a quarter of a million fewer than G4’s self-titled release shifted in its first week of release in March. The Sun |

The problem is I have to get through some trials and I'm not sure how I'll do. 'I think I'll need to get myself down to the gym. I'm carrying a bit of extra weight.' The next series of the show will be filmed in the autumn and may clash with Steve's UK tour. He said: 'I'm meant to be touring in October and November. My manager is worried I won't be able to do both.' Steve is riding high after the long-awaited release this week of his debut album Heart And Soul, which is tipped to top the chart on Sunday. Steve said: 'I think it's going to a be track called Dance With My Father. 'Father's Day is on June 19 so I think it will come out on June 13. 'It's not to do with me or a hit back at G4. It's just a coincidence and something the record company decides.' #Kerry Katona has admitted she fancies Steve Brookstein and would love to go on a date with him if her current relationship goes belly up. I think he should be happy with that number. OK I don't exactly look out for him but from the end of the X Factor and this week I've hardly seen him doing any promotion at all. |
