Conway Sisters on this morning,,, flip are they living in la la land. they kept going on and on about how now they have had exposure they can go on and sell their own music.... we have so much ambition as a band and we have worked so hard to get here blah blah ,,,,, someone needs to slap them and say girls your going home to old jobs no record company would touch you, youve havd your 15 mins ,,, sorry but bye bye |

Listen Blags, If Daniel O'Donnell can makes millions selling his records to the home crowd and the American market the Conway sisters may end up richer then any of the final acts. DanielODonnell |

You'll be glad to hear blags I had a swipe at the girls this morning on the radio saying how crap they were and are. I'm not going to stand up for them just because they Irish. They were shyte and Maria should still be there instead of them |

28 November 2005 mirror By Cameron Robertson Louis avoids Conways choice X FACTOR judge Louis Walsh admitted yesterday: "Simon Cowell saved my bacon." He confessed he was scared stiff of having to decide whether to ditch Chico Slimani or the Conway Sisters on the ITV1 talent show on Saturday. But he escaped the ordeal when Simon ditched the Conways - his own act. Louis knows the Conways' dad and voted to keep them on the show last time. He said yesterday: "Simon saved me from making what could have been a hard decision. "I thought it was going to me. I thought it was absolutely coming to me. "But I'm not telling anybody what my decision was." Louis walked out last Tuesday claiming Simon and fellow judge Sharon Osbourne were always having a go at him. But he was wooed back in time for Saturday's episode. He said: "The thing about this show, the way it works, the X Factor is the Fear Factor for me now. "And the fun factor's gone out over the last two weeks. "But I'm not going to tell anyone how I would have voted - I never will." Louis said he hadn't thanked Simon for voting to axe the Conways. He said: "I had absolutely no idea what Simon would do. "I was shocked and kind of relieved. But Simon is Simon and that's what we got." But Louis warned Chico that his popularity is waning. He said his appearance with a child, who danced along as he sang Michael Jackson's Billie Jean, was just a gimmick. Louis said: "I don't think using a young kid to get votes is not fair. Every trick in the book is being used. "I think Chico has run out of time.he's a great dancer and a nice guy, but he cannot sing." The Conway Sisters yesterday took a swipe at mentor Simon. Marie, 22, said: "He didn't really know what to do with us as a band. He was completely lost. It was a relief to him that we decided to choose our own songs." Five acts are left. Sharon has Andy Abraham, Brenda Edwards and Chico, Simon has Journey South and Louis has Shayne Ward. |

What I dont understand is if Louis thinks that much of the Conways why has he never signed them up himself? They've supported Westlife, have sang at one of Westlife's wedding yet he still doesnt have the confidence to do anything with them. Also on This Morning The Conways said "we have history with Journey South" is this another secret or did they mean cos bith had Simon as manager

I cannot WAIT to see what Shayne does with Take your Mama out!!! It'll either be dire or wonderful, I reckon. Careless Whisper could be a dodgy choice for him, too, as it would be easy to sound bland in. |

Yes, yes, yes, yes............. 
Journey South and Brenda through to the final four....(take that in your pipe and smoke it!) Along with Andy (who probably should win)...and Shayne (who probably will win). And Chico may have a Number 1 with Chico time...I hope so. I like him a lot.

CHICO checked out of The X Factor and laughed: I should have been kicked off after my first audition. The cheeky performer came bottom as more than two million viewers voted after the first live show of the series. Chico, who freely admits he has survived on charisma rather than singing talent, credited mentor Sharon Osbourne for his long run. He said: "I would just like to say I am so thankful . "I should have gone in the first audition! I rejoice because it happened and it’s all because of this lady." Chico added: "Congratulations to Andy - he right man got through and I hope he goes on to win it." Through to the semi-final went pin-up Shayne, silky-voiced Brenda, two-man group Journey South and old-style crooner Andy. X FACTOR bosses have banned Chico Slimani from releasing It’s Chico Time as a Christmas song. The former stripper — voted out on Saturday — must make way while the show winner’s single goes on sale. The top act will be crowned on the ITV talent show on December 17 and their CD rushed into the shops for December 21. Bookies had given odds of 12-1 that It’s Chico Time would be Christmas No1. But Chico, 34, remained chirpy yesterday and said: “It would be nice to strike while the iron’s hot, but it doesn’t matter if it’s January. Everyone knows it’s Chico time.” The Sun can reveal the remaining singers have all recorded a version of the winner’s song, called That’s My Goal. HMV mistakenly put all versions up for sale on its website — then removed them because ONLY the winner’s version will be released. But upbeat Chico vowed: “Whatever happens, you’ll be seeing a lot more of me.” SUN |
