From an always (VERY) reliable source, this news has just been posted on the various Ainslie sites around the web:

Hey there, just passing on some news that Ainslie wants you all to know about.

He's been working on a new album which is currently on course to be finished by the end of the year and available for sale about February time.

The album will be sold through his own website, which is in the process of being set up by a friend of his. Ainslie's intention is to keep a diary on the site so he'll be able keep you all updated with what's happening himself.

Hope this is the news that everyone has been waiting for and that you're all as excited about it as Ainslie himself!


Thanks to Heather for the news, and I'm sure that there are a few Ainslie fans around on BBFans who will be happy to hear that Ainslie is producing new music of his own. A lot of us have been excited about his work with The Last September, but he's only the guitarist and backing vocalist with them, and it's just not the same!

GG doesn't even know yet, as far as I know! I've just texted her!!

Robs, Jackie and I are really excited! It's been a long wait, but we've never given up on him.

I still love your avvie, as it has Ains in it along with Spence and the chocolate!!!

And there are a lot of us who have kept the faith! We've been lucky enough to have the Suburbia music, and the Last September stuff to keep us going.
