Boy band's biggest fan calls him 'pathetic
Exclusive By Pete Samson
X FACTOR brothers Mike and Anthony Hannides's mum has accused judge Louis Walsh of a vendetta against her boys' band.
Angela Hannides labelled Walsh, who kicked the band 4Tune out of last year's show, "pathetic".
On Saturday, the Irish music mogul was booed by the studio audience as he criticised them again, telling them on live TV that they were still not ready.
The Hannides brothers and two mates formed the band 10 years ago, when Anthony was just nine. They got to the second-last stage last year before Walsh, who was in charge of the groups, booted them out.
Now Angela, 40, has pledged to give Louis a piece of her mind if she runs into him on set during the live shows. The furious mum-of-four, from Southampton, said: "Bring on next week. If I get an opportunity, I'm going to tell him how I feel.
"I'll ask him, 'How do you sleep at night after what you did to myboys?' "Louis was very positive behind the scenes when he was their mentor last year. But he made lots of promises he didn't keep.
"Now he is making personal attacks on the boys, but that will only make them stronger.
"He was horrid on Saturday, but Louis is horrid. The boys knew he would be like that however they performed and they were ready for it."
Angela admitted 4Tune almost didn't enter this year because they feared they could be mentored by Louis again.
But they were relieved when Simon Cowell was put in charge of the groups.
Angela revealed: "It wasa hard decision. They were concerned they could have been mentored by Louis again.
"When they walked in for the first audition, I think he felt scared and threatened. I think he was worried they would reveal some of the things he said last year when the cameras weren't on.
"But, luckily, Simon was given the groups. He's been brilliant to the boys and encouraged them to stick with it and come back and audition for this series.
