Hot on the heels of Charlotte Church, Fame Academy winner Alex Parks has slammed Russian pop duo Tatu for falsely claiming they are lesbians in order to sell records.

Parks, who has always been open about her sexuality, claimed that the staged "cosiness" by Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova, most notably in the videos for debut single 'All The Things She Said' and recent hit 'All About Us', was an insult to homosexuals.
Parks said: "It is insulting to see Tatu acting the way they do. It feels like they're trying to make a bit of a joke out of being a lesbian.
"It's sad. "If their music was any good then it might help, but their latest record sounds exactly like the previous one."
Fair point, you'd have to say, though watch out for the death threats Alex...
