31 October 2005 Mirror By Polly Hudson Shayne PROVED he's not just talented and beautiful but also has the strongest stomach in the world by not vomiting when nonsensical Sharon came on to him. Hands off, grandma. Maria MAYBE she should wear outfits that draw less attention to her boobs. Male viewers probably don't even realise she has a head, let alone a dazzling voice. Chenai BLESS her, but this was the most unintentionally hilarious performance of the night, thanks to her lisp. Who made her sing: "Therth's a hero, if you look insthide your heart..."? Nicholas SAID he can't believe he's getting great feedback from judges he's been watching on TV for years. "It's even weird that they know my name." They probably read it on your belt. Brenda HER amazing makeover is better than anything Trinny and Susannah could have done, which will hopefully make up for the fact there is no way in hell she's going to win. Andy THIS old man's a dustman/He makes the streets all clean/But the best that he can hope for/Is to form a duo with Steve Brookstein. Dull, boring and tedious. Journey South THE painful way they sq-u-eee-ze out every word is exhausting to watch. I feel like I need a lie down after each performance. I predict they'll soon be journeying north to their home. The Conway Sisters UNWISE to wail "every now and then I fall apart". We could see that for ourselves. Bonnie Tyler must have been cringing on her sofa. At some points, only dogs could hear them. Chico WHEN he pulled that little girl out of the audience to dance with him, I willed her to kick him in the shins and give him the V-sign. Surely Chico Time is running out now? Please? |
