STUNNING fitness trainer Vic Duffy last night told how it was "love at first sight" when she met X Factor finalist Carl Pemberton.
Vic, 22, has been dating the 24-year-old Journey South singer for a year. But she confessed it was she who had to make the first move.
And it was his body not his voice that caught her attention when they met at a party last October.
She said: "I thought Carl was gorgeous. It was love at first sight. But he's shy - I had to approach him."
Vic and Carl celebrated their first anniversary last week with a romantic meal in the few hours Carl had free from his X Factor schedule.
Vic added: "I think Carl could be the one. I would like to get married in time - if he asks me."
Vic dismisses Carl's love-rat image. Ex-fiance Clare Dickinson, 29, claims Carl walked out on her in July last year when she found she was pregnant - and has never seen their eight-month-old daughter, Hannah.
Vic said: "We haven't really discussed our past partners."
She also revealed how she helped Carl and his brother Andy shape-up.
Vic, who works as a trainer at Bannatyne's fitness centre in Middlesbrough, said the boys used to live on take-aways and beer before she put them on a program to make them look like pop stars.
She said: "We went through nutrition then I had them in the gym for a couple of hours every day."
Carl and Andy, 29, are third favourites at 6/1 to win the show.
