MILLIONS who voted in The X Factor by mobile got unsolicited text replies urging them to download the new Christmas record for £1.50.
One angry fan, Susan Whatmore, 49, from Norwich, said: "I voted and it said it had not been accepted so I voted again. The next day I received two texts. I didn't ask for them - and didn't want them. I don't think it's right."
ICSTIS, the premium rate services regulator, said it had received no official complaints.
More than 10.8million voted in Saturday night's final, which Shayne Ward won.
