X FACTOR star Chico and Liberty X were caught up in a riot at a family fun day.
Around 200 youths rampaged at the EXCEL centre show to celebrate the London Olympics.
Parents and kids stampeded when cops stormed the event attended by 32,000 people.
One youth was arrested for carrying an offensive weapon.
Student Kerise Jones, 18, said: “I heard someone say they had seen a gun and everyone went crazy. I have never seen so many policemen.”
Liberty X, Chico and X Factor’s Brenda performed at the Big Sunday event in London’s Docklands.
Scotland Yard said it was “a large disturbance”.
Newham Council, which staged the event, claimed: “There was no cause for alarm.”
