AMERICAN Idol Kelly Clarkson was so choked up over winning two awards she could barely utter her thanks.

Kelly, who won best female pop performance and best pop album, said: "Oh God, I'm sorry, I'm crying again on national television."

Kelly, who is the first American Idol winner to get a Grammy, comes to Scotland on February 18.
