MOTHER'S Day has come early for Shayne Ward's mum. The X Factor winner used his first pay-day as a chart-topping star to buy her the house of her dreams.

But mummy's boy Shayne, 21 - in LA recording the video for his next single, No Promises - pretended that they'd missed out on a house Philomena had fallen in love with near friends and family in Clayton, Manchester.

"When I told her that I had bought the house she just started crying - it was amazing," he tells Heat.

"She was so happy."

Well....


Having seen the state of the kitchen in the house she used to live in, I have to applaud Shayne for buying her a nice new place. Not all sons would do it, and it's a nice thing for him to have done.
