X FACTOR loser Maria Lawson has won a new fan - Jamie Foxx.
The beauty caught the attention of Oscar-winner Foxx after he performed at a record industry do.
She said: "It was a brilliant show. I've been a fan of his for a long time, from even before he did the Ray Charles movie. We went backstage afterwards and met him.
"He loves the ladies and there were a selection of ladies backstage."
Maria was in LA working on her debut album, which will boast a song by Dianne Warren - the woman behind Toni Braxton's Unbreak My Heart.
She said: "Things are going great. I finished the X Factor tour then shot over to LA and I've done 12 songs to far. I can't wait for everyone to hear them."
Maria's first single on the Phonogenic label is out in July and she revealed she may borrow a bit of James Blunt "magic" for it.
She said: "We're thinking about doing You're Beautiful for the B-side of the first single.
"However, I want to be completely original, so we're not sure yet."
