St Annes born singer and songwriter Marli Buck has been signed up to support X Factor runners-up Journey South on their forthcoming national tour.
Recently signed by record giants SonyBMG, she will be featuring material from her debut EP, Be The One (released on October 9) and the forthcoming long overdue album.
Marli shot to fame on BBC1's Fame Academy – at one time being tipped as favourite to win before falling out of favour and eventually being voted out of the show.
Fellow Fame Academy star Lemar went on to reach stardom in his own right – the only contestant from the series to "make it" – and Marli is now managed by the team that shepherded his career.
