X-Factor: Auditions, Week 5
The penultimate week of auditions and this week the big red buses reached Dublin, Birmingham and Glasgow. Once more tears, naked ambition, talent, jumping for joy and visits to the booth were the order of the day and, as expected, there was an awful lot of screeching to get through before we found anyone worth sending through. The mandatory brace of sob stories, held back to the latter half of the programme, were delivered with more than the usual measure of dignity.
