ITV 5.43, Mon Oct 23 2006 4Sure have spoken for the first time about being voted off the X Factor. The band became the second act to be voted off the show over the weekend and band member Andrew Fisher broke down. Eleven finalists sang classics during the competition which will see one act walk away with a life-changing record contract by Christmas. But despite their defeat, 4sure said they didn't hold a grudge against Simon Cowell. They said: "Afterwards he said, 'I like you guys' and when he actually put the axe down, he actually mouthed to us while we were still on stage, 'I'm sorry guys'." Ten acts now remain in the competition. The next edition of X Factor will be on ITV1 this Saturday at 5.45pm, with additional coverage throughout the evening on ITV2. |
