9.00, Tue Nov 28 2006 ITV X Factor stars Eton Road are set to team up with Westlife. The Liverpool band heard the news after they were booted off the show. Despite their initial disappointment Louis Walsh promised them a recording contract and support slot with the boy band. Eton Road said: "We only found out today so we're all really shocked but we cannot wait." The band have lost out on the chance to release a Christmas record in the wake of their defeat but they admitted that they do not feel bitter about the outcome. They said: "We knew it was going to happen so it wasn't a big shock to us." The band also have a photo shoot with fashion magazine ID lined up. |
