Bookmakers William Hill have CLOSED the betting on their Christmas number 1 after Leona was backed down to 1/100 to top the Charts on Sunday!
"We are hearing that the downloads on the song are smashing records and that even if Leona failed to sell another copy she would already have the Christmas number one!" said Hills spokesman Rupert Adams. "Leona has cost us a tidy sum already and it looks like it will be a double whammy when she has the Christmas number one,"
Hills biggest bet on the Leona Xmas 1 is £5000 from a customer in Liverpool at 1/5. Hills now offer 1/2 that Leona sells 1 Million copies by Christmas Day and even money that Simon Cowell in the winning manager in 2007.
